PEOPLE: WHO WE ARE
ROS DODD: Ros began her career in 1984 as a trainee reporter with the Express & Star in Wolverhampton. She worked for The Cyprus Times before moving to The Birmingham Post.She became the paper’s Chief Feature Writer, penning articles on every imaginable subject and interviewing a wide range of people, from politicians to celebrities. Since leaving in 2001, she has been a regular contributor to The Sunday Times and Birmingham University’s in-house magazine, BUZZ. She is also involved in writing projects with one of the UK’s leading matrimonial law firms, Benussi & Co.
LISA PIDDINGTON: Lisa’s career kicked off in 1989 as a trainee reporter on a weekly newspaper, where she rose to the position of Deputy Editor. In 1995, she joined The Birmingham Post as a features sub-editor. She has held a number of senior editorial positions, including Travel Editor and Assistant Editor. In 2004 she went freelance, working as a lifestyle journalist before taking the role of Press Co-ordinator for Harvey Nichols, Birmingham. She has also developed and runs MBA and BSc Business Communication courses at The University of Birmingham.
