JOHN TAYLOR HOSPICE: When the Erdington hospice wanted to publicise in The Birmingham Post the arrival of its new Palliative Care Services Manager, Marie Ballard, it came to us. We interviewed Marie and wrote a 1,000-word feature on the work of Birmingham’s only NHS hospice, which performs an invaluable public role caring for terminally ill people in their own homes and supporting the community services on which they rely. Incidentally, Ros also raised over £700 for the hospice’s League of Friends by running a 5km race!
